Life is good - but I have a few bigger than usual possibilities haning out there. I only want them to happen if it is God's will. Understand I've been singing "God Songs" all my life. I've been praying to have the opportunity to sing outside the midwest on a more regular basis. This is what the Lord seems to be leading me to - but I just have the usual doubts about worthiness, my capability and so on. I know that God does not pick the well equipped - He equips those whom He choses, so I need not worry. Yet I do. Oh Lord help my weak faith. Help me practice what I preach. For I know you are the God of miracles. I know that you have a plan for all your children. I know that you will complete the good work you have begun in me. I know that your strength is completed in my weakness. Be thou my vision, Lord. In Jesus name, Amen. Thanks one and all. In His loving service, Mary 9/26/2007 - Allen from Texas prayer request: ><>  A PRAYER  ><> Loving Father, I know I will meet people today who need me to be generous with my love, time, forgiveness and money.  Please help me to treat them fairly and with love, just as you have treated me.  May my life reflect your grace to others who need your love.   O God, give me a heart that is quick to obey and a faith that is quick to express itself in action.  I want to please you with my words and thoughts, but even more, Father, I want to live a life full of your character, wisdom, and grace.  Help me to quickly obey your voice.     Through Jesus I pray.  Amen. Please pray for Mark who is 45 years old and sentenced to 2 years in prison.  He has been in county a few times but as my daughter put it "it isn't affecting him".  The sad part is we know him when he is sober and funny.  The scary part is when he is on drugs and has no feelings.  He has hurt a lot of people in his time.  His sister said she received a letter and has hope that he is changing because for the first time he has said that he is to blame instead of blaming others.  Our prayers are that he will have a changed heart and start serving Christ and that when he gets out that he will remain faithful to his Savior.   Please pray for Marty's family.  Marty died of a rare form of cancer a couple of days ago at the age of 45, and leaves behind a wife and several kids.   Please pray David Oreste Jeffers who deploys from Germany to Iraq.  Ask God to keep him surrounded by all needed angels, friends, mentors, helpers, both American and Iraqi, and all the wisdom, common sense, courage, and all God knows David will need, to serve in the best capacity using the talents and brains God has given him.   Help David too, with his overweight and keep him healthy. Please pray for Pam who will be leaving one job to take another.  Pray that Pam's current and soon to be old employer replaces her with a good replacement, who can learn and grow into that position, and help Pam grow into her new position easily and quickly and peacefully. Please pray for Shakiea who has had many life stresses this month and who needs God in her mind and heart and live. Please pray for Mary who is 83 and fell again last weekend, and has decided to try living with her daughter for a couple of weeks -- keep both of them in God's hands and management. Please pray for Joseph John A. who is facing legal problems and his own inner ghosts and flaws -- ask God to be gentle as he opens Joseph's eyes to all things, especially his acceptance of his own flaws, actions, choices and their consequences, and the innocence of others whom he tends to blame for all his problems. Please pray for John who still struggles in Denton trying to make a life and job/career with no insurance, etc.   Please be praying for myself , two dancers going with me and 200 some dancers from around the world going to Project Dance Atlanta this weekend.  We will be dancing tomorrow from 12-7 in Olympic Park and sharing the gospel.  I started feeling sick yesterday so my brain is not working so well:(  I will need an extra measure of grace to function. I wanted to share my praise with you. I got a job teaching special education resource at Hilton Head High School here. I start Monday- praise God for His faithfulness and provision while I was unemployed and pray that God would use me to impact these teens lives. Also pray for Stacy as she had a teaching interview in Savannah today and it went well- the principal is supposed to get back to her early next week and let her know her decision. Pray for wisdom as it is a really good school and opportunity, but it would involve putting Leah, our 2 year old in childcare and it is a long commute to the school. Thanks for praying!   I appreciate the prayer.  My current position takes a lot of focus away from the kids, so am looking for a position where they can be of primary importance again.  Also, pray for open hearts and opportunity at a planned interview.   Please pray for Tom Short, traveling Evangelist who was here at UNT last week.  He has gotten pretty sick and has had to suspend 3 trips to various universities in the next month.  Pray for healing for our God.   Please pray for my mom, Pat. On Wed. Oct. 3 at 9 a.m., she will have a left heart catheter at Harris Methodist Fort Worth and if a blockage is discovered, he will do an angioplasty and/or stent at that time. She just got great news. Everything is FINE! She sends her gratefulness for your prayers and her praise to Our Father for the wonderful news. Please pray for me regarding my mother's estate. It is going to get worse before it gets better. Please pray for my sister as she is angry with the lose of our mother. Prayer request for a great sister in Christ who is diagnosed with lyme disease and epstein-barr virus. She has been in bed rest for five weeks now. Her name is Juliya. I would appreciate prayers. God knows what it's about. Please pray for Cindy Whitwer. I know her from my 8-year-old’s soccer team. She is the mom of another 8-year-old and she was just diagnosed with multiple sclerosis and they believe she has probably had it for 15 years. Please pray for me. My purse was stolen from my car on Friday night along with pretty much the keys to my financial life inside. Please pray that we come out of this wiser, but not defrauded and ruined financially. We have already had to spend about $400 for insurance, re-keying the house and one of our cars, not to mention even replacing everything stolen.
