Women of the Bible

This book is designed as a yearly devotional, focusing on the lives
of 52 women of the Bible. Each woman’s story includes Scripture reference texts, and a sensitive, creative way to relate more deeply to each woman’s situation. Above, I’ve chosen excerpts from Eve’s story. As an overview, authors Ann and Jean provide a brief, but essential look into the woman’s character, sorrow and joy. The reader is immediately brought into ‘her world’, therefore the detailed daily
readings, questions, Bible study and prayers have a more intimate impact.

These stories have broadened my understanding of Bible times, and offered a new way to view women of Scripture. I’ve learned more about the nature of my own heart through my reactions to these very human and special women.
